After the Bison Drive, we headed to the falls — an easy, short walk that’s perfect after sitting in the car. The trail is shaded, peaceful, and leads to a viewing platform overlooking the upper and lower falls.
Mineopa Falls is surprisingly dramatic for such a small park. The water drops into a rocky gorge surrounded by thick green foliage, and the sound of the falls echoes through the trees. It’s one of those spots that feels instantly calming.
