Bailey's Irish Cream Mousse

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tsp Unflavored Gelatin
  • 2 tbsp Cold Water
  • 1/4 cup Boiling Water
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/2 cup Bailey's Irish Cream, cold
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the Gelatin
    In a small bowl, mix gelatin and cold water. Stir until the gelatin is totally dissolved. Set aside to bloom.
  • Step 2: Mix the Cream
    In a large mixing bowl, stir together sugar and cocoa. Add heavy cream and use your beaters at medium speed until stiff peaks start to form.
  • Step 3: Add Baileys Irish Cream and Gelatin Mixture
    Add in your Baileys Irish Cream, vanilla extract, and gelatin mixture. Continue beating, but now at a high speed until totally incorporated.
  • Step 4: Chill the Mousse
    Pour the mixture into individual serving dishes and let them chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until set.
  • Step 5: Garnish and Serve
    Before serving, garnish the mousse with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Enjoy!
