Bailey's Irish Cream Mousse
- 2 tsp Unflavored Gelatin
- 2 tbsp Cold Water
- 1/4 cup Boiling Water
- 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
- 1/2 cup Bailey's Irish Cream, cold
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Step 1: Prepare the GelatinIn a small bowl, mix gelatin and cold water. Stir until the gelatin is totally dissolved. Set aside to bloom. Step 2: Mix the CreamIn a large mixing bowl, stir together sugar and cocoa. Add heavy cream and use your beaters at medium speed until stiff peaks start to form. Step 3: Add Baileys Irish Cream and Gelatin MixtureAdd in your Baileys Irish Cream, vanilla extract, and gelatin mixture. Continue beating, but now at a high speed until totally incorporated. Step 4: Chill the MoussePour the mixture into individual serving dishes and let them chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until set. Step 5: Garnish and ServeBefore serving, garnish the mousse with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Enjoy!
